The universe has perplexed us for as long as we have
looked above at the night sky.
How did it come to be, is there other life out there, how far does it extend?
But we might also wonder how the sprawling,
incomprehensible scope of the universe can be found
on the surface of a frozen pond.

I have always been fascinated by these dendritic patterns in the ice. I have also taken many photos of them. They remind me of the dendritic neuronal cells in the brain. I call it DENDRICE. The ice has it’s own intelligence indeed!
The sufi poet, Hafiz, said it all
“Everyone and everything is God speaking.
Why not be polite
and
listen to Him”
Dendrice! Brilliant. The universe right inside our head. Now that’s being one with everything.
