Face east in the morning.
Bow in supplication.
Give thanks for the day.
Set about doing the good work you need to do.
Play.
Rest.
Face east in the morning. . . .

Great one Tim, I love sunflowers and have them planted all around the property just for this reminder about bowing and giving thanks.

So much to be thankful for these days.
Better way to face the day. Reminds me of a saying I heard about a change in attitude from “Good God, it’s morning.” to “Good Morning, God.”
Exactly, it’s all about your perspective.
Here comes the sun (flower), do do do do. Here comes the sun (flower), and I say. It’s all right.
Come to think of it, there was a beetle nearby when I shot that 😉
Ha!
One of my favorite times to drive across Kansas is when the sunflowers are tall, filling acres and acres of fields, their faces turning to follow the sun. My mom added the spiritual side, saying we should always turn our faces to follow the SON.
Whatever takes you to the light, right?
