A finger of tidal water points out the inevitable path of the ocean.
This sign will linger for a moment and then be gone.
Such symbols exist in our lives as well as in the natural world.
And most often, a voice from inside us calls out their existence;
unless our busy minds explain them away.

Wow….this warrants some deep reflection.
And there’s the difficult balance – reflecting and contemplating without letting the mind get busy. I find it’s an ‘in and out’ process for me; sometimes fleeting and other times settling in.
like the exchange with the previous person. and love the thickness of the finger of water and its shape..
The water is thick. The salt makes it very easy to swim in!
